Enyimba in Pot B, MFM, Plateau set in C, Akwa in D as draw holds today

 

Nigeria’s record group titleholder, Enyimba of Aba is the most astounding positioned group among the nation’s four passages in the CAF Confederation Cup, which draw will hold today in Cairo, Egypt.

The 2003 and 2004 African champion is in a similar pot with MFM’s victor in the Champions League play-off, USM Alger (Algeria), Supersport of South Africa and Hilal Obied of Sudan.

Level United and MFM, which dropped from the CAF Champions League to the Confederation following their annihilations by Etoile du Sahel and USM Alger individually in the last play-off round, are in Pot C, while Akwa United is in Pot D of the play-offs.

Level United and MFM could confront a group from Pot B or D, while Akwa United could be pitched against a group from Pot An or C.

The 16 groups that completed sprinters up in the CAF Champions League initially round and the 16 Confederations Cup initially round finalists, have been put in four pots relying upon the CAF’s five-year seeding criteria.

Four clubs consigned from the Champions League were seeded (Pot An) and top four positioned groups from the Confederations Cup (Pot B).

The rest of the 12 groups from the Champions League were drawn into Pot C and the others from the Confederations Cup into Pot D.

The primary attract will be to decide the matches between groups from Pot An and Pot D. The method will be rehashed four times.

After, a ball from Pot B will be attracted against Pot C to decide the matches. The technique will be rehashed four times.

Once finished, the staying eight groups from Pot C will be drawn against other eight from Pot D.

One ball from Pot C will be drawn against another ball from Pot D. The technique will be rehashed eight times to finish the installations.
