Enugu to Host LMC Super Four

The annual LMC Super Four will be hosted by between December 7 and 11 in Enugu State after Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi gave his consent for the tournament to go ahead in the Coal City state.
The tournament will feature all four clubs that would represent Nigeria in the African inter club competitions next year and they will include reigning league champions and hosts, Enugu Rangers, Rivers United ,Wikki Tourists and Federation Cup champions, FC IfeanyiUbah.
All matches are scheduled to take place at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium from December 7 and on December 10 after the day’s activities, the draws for the 2016/2017 season will take place in Enugu at a yet to be decided location ahead of the closing ceremony of the Super Four on December 11.
Rangers Director of Media and Publicity, Foster Chime told Goal: “We are hearing that the 2016 LMC Super Four will hold in Enugu. Even though another state is jostling to host the event, a source told me that Enugu has been given the nod.
“We are going to be ready for the tournament because it will be a dress rehearsal towards our participation in the CAF Champions League. We are eagerly expecting the start of the completion and we are going to recall our team back earlier than expected from the pre season camping in Benin to put finishing touches to the rest of our build up at home.”
